YES! I loved that place. Don't skimp out on buying cheap bullshit grocery store dog food. Just like you, you're dog needs good quality food. Be prepared to spend a good amount every month. Trust me, it's important.

That's actually not always true. Great Danes do well in small spaces, despite their large size.

Shawn, the bigger the dog the better for an apartment. Because of their size they don't run around much to begin with. I have a pitbull/black lab mix which is horrible for an apartment dog by the books, but I got lucky with mine. It can sometimes just depend on the dogs personality as well.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT FEED YOUR DOG VEGAN FOOD. it's not good for their digestive track. dogs are carnivores. this isn't an anti vegan tirade by any means, but it's just not healthy.

Krist, being the voice of reason? Did someone suggest that in this thread? I've only skimmed.

Wouldn't it be anti-vegan to condition your pet to be vegan?

Honestly not trying to be a smart ass here...

Feeding a dog or cat a vegan diet is fucking dumb. No one should do it and it infuriates me when people raise their animals this way.
